Information Communication Technology (ICT) is delivered as a discreet ICT lesson throughout the school. Students will use Information Communication Technology across the whole school curriculum to meet the requirement of National Curriculum in their respective subject areas.

Information Communication Technology is taught according to the National Key Stage 3 Strategy in Years 7 and 8 and pupils have 1 ICT lesson per week. In Year 9 pupils begin the OCR Nationals course which can lead to between 1 and 4 GCSE equivalents at Grade A*-C. In Years 9-11 pupils have 2 ICT lessons per week.

All students wishing to further their interest in Information Communication Technology can utilise the equipment in the Resource Centres at lunchtimes and evenings. Through the Year ICT Clubs are run which seek to extend and develop the work undertaken through the curriculum, particularly in the areas of sound and video editing and game writing.

All subject areas have access to microcomputers and there are interactive whiteboards in many of the classrooms around school which are available to enhance teaching programmes within their subject areas.

The school has one resource centre fitted with twenty-four networked PCs and three specialist I.C.T. rooms, each with twenty-four PCs, in addition, there are well equipped satellite Resource Centres serving Modern Languages, Technology and Performing Arts. Hardware in these includes CD and/or DVD Roms.
